Pierre-Joseph Redouté
Rosa hemisphaerica
Rosa hemisphaerica
Sunlight incarnate, this sulfur rose bursts from Redouté's canvas. Petals, like spun gold, unfurl in a perfect hemisphere, radiating warmth even on cool paper. Delicate veins whisper secrets of the Orient, where this bloom first graced gardens. A single bud, poised to ignite, hints at the endless cycle of life and light this rose embodies.
