THE JOURNEY
Hi, I am Yash Purohit, the founder of Artuzzii, and this is my story.
Where It All Started
Some of my earliest memories are tied to art — not inside galleries, but in everyday spaces. I still remember being in second grade and watching an artist paint a massive jungle mural outside my classroom during lunch breaks. I was completely mesmerized by how someone could transform an ordinary wall into something immersive through nothing but imagination and skill. Watching her paint felt almost magical to me, and it inspired me to start painting myself. That moment quietly became the beginning of my creative journey, without me realizing how deeply it would shape the course of my life years later.
A Different Path, The Same Curiosity
As I grew older, painting slowly faded from my daily routine as academics and sports took over. I became deeply involved in engineering and eventually went on to study Aeronautical Engineering. But even as my world became more technical and structured, my fascination with creativity never disappeared. Looking back now, I think my school environment influenced me more than I realized at the time. It felt less like a school and more like an immersive creative space — murals, sculptures, painted walls, installations, and interactive art spread throughout the campus. Art was never treated as decoration there. It became part of the atmosphere itself.
The Moment Everything Changed
Years later, while pursuing my Master’s in Renewable Energy Engineering in Sweden, I often found myself wandering through the city streets completely captivated by the buildings around me. I was fascinated not only by their architecture and design, but also by the way they shaped the atmosphere of a place and subtly influenced how people felt and experienced the spaces around them. That’s when something clicked for me. I realized that the spaces people inhabit every single day quietly influence their mood, energy, creativity, and emotions far more than we notice. That realization eventually became the foundation of Artuzzii — a studio built on the belief that art should do more than simply decorate a wall. It should transform the atmosphere of a space and change the way people experience it.
Artuzzii Today
Today, Artuzzii operates as a studio-led creative practice focused on crafting artworks and installations that elevate the atmosphere of the environments they inhabit. Rooted in the belief that art should not merely decorate a wall but shape the experience of a space, every piece is approached through the lens of materiality, emotion, scale, texture, balance, and spatial harmony.
The studio blends analytical precision with artistic intuition — combining engineering discipline, visual storytelling, and handcrafted execution to create works that feel intentional, immersive, and deeply connected to their surroundings.
Over the years, Artuzzii has evolved into a collaborative creative practice working alongside skilled artisans and makers across mediums to produce artworks that evoke calmness, curiosity, reflection, creativity, and wonder.
What We Believe
Our Principles
Art as Atmosphere
We believe art should shape the emotional experience of a space, not simply fill a wall.
Craft over Production
Every piece is handcrafted with intention — materiality, texture, and finish are never afterthoughts.
Spaces Shape People
The environments we inhabit silently influence our mood, creativity, and wellbeing every single day.
“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”
— Pablo Picasso
