“Golden Bough” is a famous furnishing fabric pattern designed by William Morris in 1888. The design is picked out in gold colored silk on a lime-yellow linen background. It features a floral and leaf design of stylized roses, tulips, and bluebells within meandering branches and leaves in ogee formation. The pattern was possibly designed by William Morris or John Henry Dearle and woven at Merton Abbey, England.
